Member Recognition –October & November, 2020
Part I
Congratulations to Candace Cook, who was one of 57 entries to be accepted into the 2020 Healing Arts show at McCullough Hyde hospital in Oxford. She was also 1 of 7 winners of a "Purchase Award." Congratulations also to Joe Chunko, who had images represented in this show as well.The accepted entries will hang on the walls of McCullough Hyde for one year. A belated congratulations to Joe Chunko, who had an image accepted into the 2020 Evendale Cultural Arts Center Juried Photo Exhibit. His name was left off the original list of members accepted into the show.
Also, congratulations to both Candace and Joe for having images accepted into the Fairfield Community Artist Show. One of Candace’s images was a nominee for “Best in Show.”
Congratulations to Dennis Bray for winning first place in Nikonians “Adorable Pets” competition with “Teddy’s Portrait.”
Congratulations to Alane Shoemaker who had two images featured in Michigan publications this month. One, at right was featured in The Leland Report. The others were in the Leelanau Enterprise, Michigan Newspaper of the Year.
Alane also had good news about two Nikonian entries. The first,“Leaf on Grenada Beach,” was the winner of Nikonian Digital Artistry for September!
The second is a finalist for this month in the Macro division.
